Arkansas Arboretum has a concrete trailway through a forested area that recreates the flora found in each of the six regions in Arkansas.

The Maumelle Corps of Engineer Campground is an outstanding facility for camping while you are visiting the Pinnacle State Park.

The cypress trees and other flora along the Arboretum trail make for a quiet retreat.

This video gives you a good feel for what you can see at this park. It is done by LazyRayFinkleFilms and lasts for about 2 minutes.

This day park is one of the most popular parks in Arkansas. It is dedicated to environmental education and is close to Little Rock so many people spend time in the park year around. There are hiking trails including one to the top of Pinnacle Mountain, which has beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Horseback and biking trails are also popular. Although there is no camping in the park, there is a large Corps of Engineers Park at the base of the mountain positioned on the Arkansas River. For those wanting motel facilities check the internet listings for Little Rock or Maumelle, Arkansas. This park is also the eastern terminus of the Ouachita Recreation Trail, which ends in Oklahoma.
